Mt. Seymour

Mount Seymour is the closest mountain to us. It takes 30-45 minutes by car from our home to the top of the mountain. That mountain has received over 3 meters of snow already this year. Last year it snowed over 7 meters on the top! And the view.... absolutely great! We have a good access to snow here even though grass is green in the city.

Alex loves snow. It's great that we have this possibility to take him to play with snow. Only problem is that he doesn't want to go home when we are leaving from the mountain (as you may see from the picture above).

Seymorin vuori on meitä lähinnä.

Santa's sleigh

Here is a photo taken through our living room window at Christmas Eve 2012. This year most of the Santa's presents arrived with a sleigh that had "Canadian Post" signs on the side - not too many reindeers either, but a red nose for sure.

Christmas 2012

Alex enjoyed Christmas (as you can imagine)! Here he has just opened a parcel that arrived from Finland.

Alex bikes!

Alex's favorite means of transportation to school is his own bike. Everyday he picks his bicycle and go to school. A month or so ago we decided to try if he could  ride his bike without training wheels. And vola! Alex did fine without them. In the video he bikes to school first time without the training wheels. It took almost a week from his friends to believe that he can ride his bike now without the training wheels.

Merry Christmas Season

We wish you a very merry Christmas Season and blessed coming year. This photo was taken in our new home in Vancouver on Christmas Day in occasion when church came over for a cup of coffee.
We moved here in August after around 10 years in Brussels, Belgium.
